ABOUT SAHARA CAFES AND PATISSIERIES

We offer good food, friendly chat, colourful characters and unique tastes that you won’t find anywhere else in Norwich.

First of all, we have an amazing team at Sahara Cafe’s. We honestly couldn’t have done it without them, our families and our fantastic customers. You have all been amazing!

But you may be wondering who started it all?

Wanting to introduce Norwich to a new world of tastes, we (Faycal-left and Borhane-right) founded Sahara Cafe and Patissierie in 2014. Having soon gained a reputation for friendly service and authentic food we decided to open a new cafe in 2018 residing in “The Lanes” area of the city, on St Benedict’s Street.

So North African cusine, what does that mean?

It means culinary influences from as far back the 1st Century with the French, Ottoman Turks, Carthaginians and Berbers all adding to the rich flavour.

In terms of service it means a warm, bright welcome from both of us and our staff.

Simply put we offer good food, friendly chat, colourful characters and unique tastes that you won’t find anywhere else in Norwich. We look forward to you joining us.
